Enjoy private chef services in the comforts of your beachfront villa in Tulum. Our chefs offer fresh​ ​regional cuisine prepared with traditional Mexican, Mayan, and Aztec flavors. The chef's selection of sustainable harvested fish, vegetables, and fruits are inspired by what is in season, and dinner is served in the privacy and comfort of your Villa for your group to enjoy together.

Book a Taco + Margarita arrival dinner to easily slip into beach mode after your flight. The chefs will prepare a variety of tacos (4 types) and 3 margaritas per person. Includes chips, guacamole and fresh salsa.

Prefer to select your own menu? Please send each person's menu selection and any food allergies or dietary restrictions to our concierge, then sit back and enjoy your private chef experience! Drinks not included in Chef Menu.

Dinner

Choose one starter per person:

​

  • Beet Salad: Jocoque (soft cheese), caramelized beets, berries, strawberry vinaigrette, roasted pumpkin seeds, with spinach, w/ lemon zest + olive oil.(V)

  • Guacamole: Bright avocado w/ lime, cilantro and sal, accompanied by pico de gallo and chips. (V)

  • Cauliflower Ceviche: Cauliflower marinated with citrus, tomato, cilantro, and avocado w/ tortilla chips (V)

  • Passionfruit Aguachile: Shrimp marinated in passionfruit with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, lime and tortilla chips. 

  • Tuna Black Ceviche: Black sesame, lemon juice, cucumber, serrano pepper, diced tuna, coriander, and red onion.

  • Coconut Bass Ceviche: White fish marinated in coconut and olive oil w/dried arbor chilies, served w/ cherry tomato, mint and tortilla chips.

  • Tortilla Soup: Traditional Mexican soup w/ tomatoes, onion, garlic, and chicken broth served with chicken, avocado, cheese and fried tortilla.


Choose one main per person:​

  • Mushroom Risotto: Prepared with deglazed wine, cremini mushrooms, and parmesan. (V)

  • Tamales: Traditional corn husk tamales w/ roasted vegetables (V)

  • Paprika Octopus: Octopus marinated with paprika and rosemary, cooked at low temperatures, and served with mashed potatoes. 

  • Pescado del Dia: Freshly caught fish prepared w/ seasonal vegetables.

  • Chicken Sous vide: Chicken breast served with local seasonal vegetables.

  • Ribeye Steak: Ribeye steak w/ rosemary marinade, accompanied by yellow corn and mashed potatoes. *Extra cost of $25 USD. 

 

Choose one dessert per person:

  • Mayan Volcano Choc Cake: Served warm combining the elements of a cake and a soufflé (V).

  • Caramel Flan: Traditional baked Mexican dessert with caramel sauce (V). 

  • Roasted Pineapple: (V).

Rates

In-house chef services are a special offering and add a superb Mexican culinary experience to your stay. Our chef team will shop, prepare, and serve your meal in the privacy of your Villa.

For the Taco + Margarita dinner, the rate includes 3 margaritas per person. 

For the Chef Table + Chef Dinner options, the rate is food only.

*ask about adding a cocktail service ($50/3 drinks)

 

Private chef dinner $90 USD per person.

 Rates include 16% VAT and the cost of groceries. Gratuity is not included.

Kids Menu & Rates

We love kids at Zorba. After a day of travel or a glorious beach day building sand castles, a private chef service means everyone is on holiday!

Kids Quesadillas / Pasta / Tacos $25 USD

(ages 3-10 only)

Please note these are add-ons to an adult dinner service.

There may be an additional charge if a group has more kids than adults.

"Stayed with 3 girlfriends for our annual girls' trip. I love that the location was at the end of the boutique hotel strip. It was quiet and felt secluded, yet still close to all the restaurants.
